LOL if you don't have a console come November, the best time to game.

November through February is the best time to game. Weather gonna be cold in most places with snow. It's gonna get dark at 4:30 which sucks ass. What better to do than get a console and stack up on games? Already got my PS5 preordered along with Demon Souls and Spiderman. Cyberpunk 2077 comes out November 16th, can't.

Agreed tbh. Getting my PS5 on launch day as well. Probably be trying out Godfall first.

I was thinking of getting Ps5 but I have an Xbox One and I want to be able to play my current games. Since they will have backwards compatibility and my saved progress, I am going to have to roll Xbox.

Only game I've been playing is Stardew Valley, and I've logged about ~15 hours in one month of playing it..... so 30 min/day



Honestly, I can't bring myself to game; I feel like a huge turd when I do. I wish I could just sit down and game for 4 hours like I did in my teens, and early 20's.

I just got a Xbox 1 but I’m buying games cause winter.

Good games are like $20 now with the new systems coming out. Some day I’ll get a new console if it’s drastically better.

Thx, I guess, on spread lol.

I still think ps has better exclusive developers that they have nurtured the past several decades. Plus buying insomniac was smart (I love their games). But I'm genuinely excited for the future of xbox. And they had 3 critical successes this year already at the top of my head (and they aren't even halo, gears or forza!). They have a few really talented studios at this point, plus they are giving them creative freedom to do what they want. Game pass is seriously great, especially with game prices going up to $70. I already have a big backlog on there.

I have definitely been talking more positively about xbox lately, but I think a reality where MS, Sony, and Nintendo are all doing well and being competitive is only good for gamers. And MS has made some really good strides. A 180 since the disastrous xbox one launch.
