Are there any signs/clues that we might be living in a simulation? 2020 certainly feels this way. Things have been started to get so ridiculous.

I think social media makes it feel like a simulation. If you leave your phone at the house and go outside in nature for a few days you come back to reality but nobody does this we are connected with billions of people all day long and there are shills and bots and fake information being spread all over the internet

That stupid ******* Elon Musk thinks the chances of us being in a base reality are really slim, therefore he thinks that we are within a simulation.

Sometimes I feel that paranormal activity such as UFO's, Ghosts, Bigfoot etc are simply 'bugs' or 'hacks' into the simulation from outside players.

In a way OP - yes.
I mean that one way of thinking about it is that God made this place as a test/sim to see if we would find and love him I guess.
If so, then he's basically given us free will to 'รงhange the source code' to invent new things inside it.

I find it one of the most plausible explanations for the nature of reality. Certainly much more likely than any religious explanation for existence.

Double slit experiment shows an electron is aware of all possible paths when it travels, which is only possible if it's the same electron traversing the path multiple times. It can do this if all electrons in the universe are the same electron, going back and forth in time exploring every possibility. That's single electron theory and imo the most accurate yet accommodates simulation well.

If you're religious, then you think it's a sim. This is not the final reality to you.

100% we are. Tho whether it is a mechanical type described in Matrix movies, zoo theory (Truman Show) or Bauillard's theory (everything is physically real but psychologically we believe whatever elites want us to believe) that I can not tell.

Also there are lot more possibilities.

Some humans might be real humans plugged into the simulation and some are AI. Maybe we all are AI with no physical presence in the real world. Maybe I am the only human and everyone else is an AI. Maybe you are whoever reading this.

Or maybe I am an self-unaware AI. Who knows.

Tho wouldnt really be surprised if I am a test subject of some sorta simulation to test psychological stress etc so they could develop medication to fight it in real world.

Edit: one weird thing. Northwest of my town is a mountain. It is a forested region. Almost every summer that place has a huge forest fire (100 km2 of it has full of smoke), helis fly to it etc. But whenever I drive thru that place it is always forested. If it is always full of forest then what has been burning for 20 years twice a year?

Somebody out there thought of this fun conspiracy theory about living in a simulation and how Covid-19 was used to get people to stay indoors long enough for the simulation heads/controllers to 'update' the world/server lol.

I had a similar theory when the government acknowledged UFOs not too long ago. They didn't have one they could show us, just a photo from a jet plane they took. And that was it. So the theory is that they just wanted to trickle out a little info at a time to make it easy to swallow for the populace of the world, but the admins(lol) are going to crank up the frequency and intensity of UFO encounters over time. Just one big long update.

APPARENTLY(gonna look more into this today) the U.S government has even gone as far to acknowledge subjects like healing energies and chakras and spiritual things as well...... Are we all gonna get super-power updates soon?

What if after you die you suddenly wake up on some sorta surgical/ technological table you look around and see couple figures in hazmat suits and behind them tons of computers with images from different points of your life then one figure comes to you says to his collegues "experiment #3848893 finished" and injects you with poison and you die
