Thread: Are there any reasons to not participate in the census?

Are there any reasons to not participate in the census?

From time to time I see literature suggesting a relatively large percent of the population has not completed the census.

As I understand it, only positive reasons to do it exist.

The only negative I can think of is that it takes 20 min of your time.

Am I missing something?

So they changed it this year from the 5 page booklet to the online 5 question version. It takes actually less time.....

We should allow everybody that wants out of there a 3 month window in which they are allowed to go to somewhere else in the US as long as they relinquish their voting rights

I hate doing it too so I just knock it out online when I get the first notice in the mail just to get it over with and to get them to stop sending more notices.

These.

Really easy now. Enter the ID# from the postcard and answer a few things.

NOT doing the census it basically saying you don't want fair representation in Congress, don't want to get back the $$$ you paid in on gas taxes, and just generally want to give the Federal government your money and receive as little as possible in return for it.

I moved to Texas from CA and I would agree with this.

They already voted in a Fellow Californian councilor in, a pussyhat wearer who wants section 8 built in every subdivision here and tried to get the gun range closed for "noise pollution"

After the el paso shooting she went on national TV and blamed white people, trump and tried to get the city hall to ban open carry

You don't have to do anything with the mail though. If you got a postcard w/a code on it then that save typing in your address; but if you don't know your code:

lol I was going to do it, but forgot, then they sent someone to my place, knocked on my door(I don't answer to fat strangers) and then left a notice. This happened like 10 times usually during the weekend when I chilling in my underwear or drunk. Now I am not going to do it because they tried too hard
