Companies with hiring quotas

That have targets for women and minorities. Is this legal? Is it racist.

I was looking at a job ad recently in Canada and it said that they hire based on skills and ability, however, I asked my friend and he said they hired based on sex and color then abilities if at all.

Why would a company do this to itself? How does it benefit the company?

It benefits them through PR. 95% of workers are expendable so the company isn't losing out on much by hiring by diversity. Is it fair? No , but neither is affirmative action which is actually legal.

It’s racist and sexist.

Systemic racism and sexism exists, against white men. It is apparently perfectly ok to exclude a white man based on his skin and gender.

There’s your systemic racism.

yeah but if you have a predominantly white staff and you tell them whites are not welcome, what do you think will happen to productivity and quality?

Bad business move imo

Companies not hiring based on merit will be decimated by competitors who do.

This is why there is such a strong push for all companies to employ these types of policies and beliefs.

this will take time for larger organisations to see this occur though, probably years, then the pendulum will swing back to favoring white men because we are the best workers.

In some comapnies you can already see the weakness in their profits due to hiring nie.gros

next time go the other way around. Ask what groups aren’t eligible. Make them say it.

Usually Senior Management is white dominant so I don't think they feel attacked considering they're the ones making the decision. Besides, it's not only a race issue. Diversity includes lgbt and all that other nonsense.

thats what makes it so ridiculous they have quotas for women in middle management but will never apply the saem quotas to upper management or senior levels.

How is it against white men when most of the positions are entry level and low middle tier? The top of most corporations I ran by white men. Google, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, etc. Any big tech company. If you're complaining about low skill minorities, maybe you aren't as good as you think you are. Maybe you need to get some actual skills so companies find you unreplaceable?

It's you're, not your, incel retard

You're complaining about competing against low skilled minorities. How about you get some more skill and move up the ladder?

Companies give minorities the entry-level and below average positions. If you're complaining about that the problem is on you
