$5k property tax bill. F*CK CA [where to move?] [be my gym buddy i need a spotter]

Misc, I am done with California. Done. $5k tax bill is bull****. Especially when the government stopped people from working. Dipping too deep into my savings for my tastes.

Help me decide where to flee Misc. If anyone needs someone with +20 years of high level management/leadership experience let me know.

I am getting out of this hellhole.

If you're white you have a lot of options.

I'm considering moving out of LA too and I've only been here for a year. I might've picked the absolute worst time to try out California and how things are looking I don't see a profitable future here.

As a single Asian male my options are much more limited. I'm eyeing suburbs around Dallas because of jobs and low cost of living. The only downside is a lack of outdoor recreation and my peg on the social ladder as an Asian brah is low.

The wife and i are eyeing Washington and Henderson, Nevada. In my spare time I am a farmer of sorts, and what I cultivate is legal there.

Property tax is such bs. Do people just take years to pay off the last bit of mortgage just to avoid said taxes?

Brb buy a house, finally pay off said house. still get fukked paying yearly taxes.
5k a year is stilll 450 a month. That's rent for some people.

My income is taxed above 30%

I make well over six figures. The state is literally taxing us out.

Certainly not Texas, mine is 12k

Although CA rapes you so hard I worked out I'd be paying 90k+ a year in taxes alone.

I almost ran out of gas trying to make it completely through IL without having to give that state a single penny. Usually I remember to fill up at the last stop in indiana but forgot until I was already over the border.

Anyway, I'm shocked at some of those taxes. I pay $1300. Bought my house for $196k ten years ago, now worth $325k

Dallas is not so bad at all, my guy. There's Carrollton and east Plano. Richardson also, but that's not as cool.

Carrollton has all the fun karaoke bars, the best korean food / bbq / etc.
