Oh and not shipping covid patients to nursing homes will help

Heck, maybe. I'm tired. Most posters I encounter here seem to have decided that either precautions don't work, or that we just shouldn't take any and should "let 'er rip". It's weird.

I would rather not find out how deep the lake is by diving in head first.

Too many people with what appear to be at least lagging recoveries for my comfort. Not sure if you saw this one about damage to heart muscle in COVID patients that had mild cases. The picture looks like they are pointing out damaged cells on slides taken from patients that were not diagnosed with myocarditis.

What % of the US population has gotten tested? are those with mild symptoms likely to get tested? There was a similar study in Sweden showing 10% with antibodies. However, they tested the same blood donors for t-cell response and found 30%. Antibody testing isn't that accurate. Also antibodies tend to leave the bloodstream pretty quickly in cases of mild infection so you'll only catch recent or current ones.

Somehow people think this means you can catch covid several times a year, I guess they don't realize antibodies aren't the only way your body is protected from infection.

Here's a study showing myocarditis in 48% of athletes after common cold. There's another study showing myocardial inflammation in 60% of infants after rhinovirus as well. Does that mean the common cold is lethal?
