Going to get DTNVGs soon, and brb 9 months until suppressors
T2 on scalarworks 1.93 mount with Aimpoint 3x magnifier will be here on Monday.

My department had a shooting with a slug 7 or 8 years ago where the bad guy made it 15 yards or so before he dropped. He ended up dying but he could have kept shooting for those three seconds or so.
The probability is obviously probably much lower to do that after being shot with a slug vs handgun round, but it has and does happen.

This is why you hear the phrase "shoot to stop the threat". The guy dying later doesn't help you, and guns aren't magical talisman that will just turn a human being off. Unless you get a CNS hit high enough to destroy the right brain matter or completely paralyze them, they're still coming after you.
