If your wife's baby turned out not to be yours would you still raise it?

Let's say after a year of taking care of the new born baby you started to grow more and more suspicious since the baby you were raising was black and you were white would you say something or just pretend like everything was fine?

I could do the stepdad thing. But NOT if it was cause of cheating. And she’d have to have a cordial relationship with the father still

I have a stepdad though. Parents got divorced before I was born. I know the misc thinks “cucks” but he raised me better than my biological father could.

Real talk, it would be super difficult to give stop being like a father for the kid if you found out when the kid was fairely old. Obviously instant divorce.

Real talk. After a year of acting as, and establishing yourself as, the father of a child conceived and born while you were married, you will likely have as hard of a time shedding your financial responsibilities as you would with your biological children.

You can dip out on the kid as an active parent, but odds are you will be paying child support and carrying around the deadbeat dad stigma until they are 18.

I was raised by my stepfather and have an immeasurable amount of respect for him. I wouldn’t be a stepfather though.

Also if I was expecting a woman to be pregnant with MY child and it turns out it’s not. You best believe I’m erasing all traces of that woman and child from my life. No sympathy for people who cheat, imagine how terrible that must feel to see your supposed child being born and it’s very clearly not yours.

Depends on several factors. One is how much I have already investing and if the kid is a chitass or not. Either way, getting child support from father, but most likely won't stay with a woman who not only cheated and got preggo but hid it from me.
