Oh well, lost the weigh in, I lost 9.7 pounds, ended up being 5.7ish%, got second. Dude who won went from 363 at the start to 332 now (2 months) so not even mad he won.

Second place got me $100, he got $600.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

I wonder how center mass slug hits compare to center mass 00 buck hits?

All I really have seen is from the Jack Wilson church shooting last December, first guy the shooter hit dropped like a sack of potatoes

I think he's talking about the first guy who stood up and lackadaisically went for his pistol and took a shotgun blast to the chest. You could see the spray on the wall as it came out his back. He dropped instantly.

The second guy hit by a shotgun blast could have stayed in the fight, but didn't look like he wanted to.

Different people react differently when shot. Lots of factors.

relavent

cliffs:
.22 lr will statistically stop an attacker ~ 30% of the time
common pistol rounds stop an attacker ~ 50% of the time
rifle and shotguns will stop an attacker ~ 80% of the time

found some old firearm receipts.

more than a decade ago, sold Browning BPS 12 ga. and Marlin 882SS .22wmr for $150 and $50, respectively, to pawn shop. jfl. Would love to have the Browning back. Think I paid $250 for it, used but excellent condition. Don't think I ever shot the Marlin, but love to have it back for $50 lol

in 2010, bought g23 (gen3) for $610 (out the door). Going to see of I can sell it for the same.

off topic, but guess who has two thumbs and is quarantined...

The days of plentiful cheap surplus are long gone. I miss the days of $89 mosins and $179 sks. I was old enough to buy an AK when wasrs were $350 and x39 was about .12cpr

Adjust for inflation and I think some of the 2017 ish deals were even better, for the guns. And maybe even ammo, or early 2000s on the ammo

Did a charity sporting clays shoot to benefit special olympics today put on by the RI State Police Troopers Association.

Event was held at the "money club" of the state.

Shot a 74 my second time out for sporting clays. Not bad.

Edit, 74, not 75
