Jonathan Price Tragically Killed by Texas Police While Breaking Up a Fight (BLM)

"He reportedly tried to intervene in a couple’s scuffle; when officers arrived on the scene, Price was who they shot.

A Texas man called a pillar of his community was shot to death by police after trying to break up a fight between a man and woman at a gas station.

Witnesses say that Jonathan Price tried to break up the disagreement inside the store, but it spilled outside, and when officers responded to the scene, Price was the one they shot.

Price, 31, was a former athlete employed by Wolfe City, which is about an hour away from Dallas. He also worked as a fitness trainer. "


There aren't a lot of details about what exactly happened yet, but first reaction is this is sickening.

He was completely rational about the BLM movement and about policing on his ******** page in June, and ironically was killed.

Feel absolutely horrible for him and his family.

I need to see the store and bodycam footage. At first glance though this feels wrong on the cops part.

“When police arrived, I’m told, he raised his hands and attempted to explain what was going on,” Merritt wrote on ********. “Police fired tasers at him and when his body convulsed from the electrical current, they ‘perceived a threat’ and shot him to death.”

I mean just the fact he was trying to break up a fight it feels like a good samaritan that paid for his kindness with his life situation.

Thought you meant the actor Johnathon pryce and for a second was like "well this is weird"

The narrative that the police "showed up, saw a black man and automatically shot him dead for no reason" will be pushed until body cam footage says otherwise and the whole thing is forgotten about.

If you think what has happened has been bad for floyd and taylor, wait and see what happens when its not an incident where you can question what happened (Not saying thats the case yet, but theres a first time for everything).

There's two scenarios:

1) Blatant murder and the cop is charged right away. Open and shut case.

2) Questionable evidence and the cop isn't charged

Neither is going to be better.

You know who else was "just trying to break up a fight" when they first reported it? The guy who digitally raped a girl and she called the cops and they came to get him because he was already barred from coming near her who then fought the cops and walked over to his truck to get a knife after tazering didn't work. SO MAAAAAAAAAAAAAYBE we all calm the F down and wait for the rest of the story to come out before going off 100% sure of what happened because you heard it from the guy's family's lawyer.
