I hope you’re extroverted, agree with lefty policy, enjoy banter to the point of outright being insulted, love the freezing cold, and find pale, unhealthy looking women with slabs of make up to cover their ugliness attractive.

Say, ˹O believers,˺ We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Allah we all submit.

Depends where you go. You said possibly Scotland. Totally different to say, London.

British Twit recently moved to Edinburgh and made a thread on it which you might want to read. However Edinburgh is completely different to some other places even within Scotland.

It’s like saying “what’s America like?” as of Los Angeles and Alabama are the same.

Generally though, UK is cool. If you’re into drinking you’ll like it. Also make sure you’re not too thin-skinned. As mentioned by someone else above, the banter can often get close to the bone. Just don’t be too precious about it.

*this applies to england maybe Scotland is better*

It fuking sucks!

The food is sht even tho they are right next to mainland Europe you would think proper Spanish, French, and Italian foods would be plentiful but no. Pubs with there no seasoned not even salted proper foods orrrrrr lots of Indian food.

They don’t try and make money here cause they all close down businesses early and 24/7 does not exist here....except McDonald’s LOL FUKIN LMAO

The roads are tiny as fuk and the people that drive on them tailgate way worse than anything in America

The speed cameras will get you but at least they are simple fines that never increase for repeat offenses , 100 pounds , but get 3-4 of them and license goes away

People are nice which is good but all very pusy passive aggressive and will snitch on things they see to the popo

The roads are tiny as I said but I fukin mean it it’s all two lanes roads almost everywhere and they purposely build the roads shty in the interest of purposely forcing people to have to slow down

- - - / - - - / - - -

They take a straight simple road and put in curves to new streets where it normally be can keep going straight now every curve you have to brake hard and look then baby right turn on a freakin straight road every spot where the turn is the right of way is given to the people coming onto the straight road

OR they purposely built barriers in the roads forcing choke points

———————[][][]. ——————
——————————-—————

So people have to stop then look and quickly dart around the blocked section

This country is gay as fuk

If your need to know more feeling intensifies let me know and I’ll add on to this there’s plenty more but need sleep

Not far off the mark.

UK has really turned into a chit hole over the last 20 years. But depends where you go. A few miles can make a huge difference in the UK to the quality of people.

Weather is chit, we only get 2-3 weeks of hot weather a year.

Football (soccer) is the most popular sport.

Most of the food consists of pasties, pies, roast dinners and English breakfast. There's also LOTS of Indian restaurants, kebab shops and a fair few Chinese aswell.

People have very specific 'banter' and phases which if you're not from the UK you won't understand.

Roads are small and narrow.

If you live in a big city like London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow ,Leeds , Liverpool etc then public transport runs quite regularly, London in particular has fantastic public transport as it has an underground tube system.

The local accent changes every 13 miles or so, people from different parts of the country sound completely different to one another.
