What happened to comedy movies?

I was just thinking that I haven't seen a new pure comedy movie in years. Why did they stop making them? From the 1990s through the 2000s you had the countless number of Jim Carrey movies, Adam Sandler movies, Ben Stiller movies, and Will Ferrell movies, along with some other classics of that era like Road Trip, Euro Trip, American Pie trilogy, Rat Race, The Hangover, etc.

Like seriously, why are there no more comedy movies anymore?

Baseketball became my new favorite 90's movie when I finally saw it last year. 90's was goat. The left killed comedy.

Most superhero and action movies are basically comedies now (thor, spiderman, guardians of the galaxy, jumanji, shazam, deadpool, etc)..

Just watched "Waiting" the other day chit was hilarious in a stupid way. Weird I thought those movies were lowbrow and overrated back then, I mean sure enjoyed them sometimes but never realized I would miss the fuk out of them when everything is controlled by humorless SJWs who get offended by everything. That movie came out and people in college were doing that chit, giving each other the bat wing and calling each other ******* and chit. Nobody even cared.
