France speak French
Spain speaks Spanish
Italy speaks Italian

Many of these countries have their own distinct language. Dialect and accent cope doesn't count boyos it's not its own seperate language. Everybody calls it English, nobody says I speak American (inb4 I speak Merican). Even if you call it American-English, it is still beholden and cucked by English at the end of it.

With that said, what do you guys propose as a new language to cement America as a land that is truly free and not cucked by past history/colonization?

But just to throw in a bit of a curveball, at what point does a dialect become a new language?

For example, Norwegian, Danish and Swedish are technically separate languages, yet the languages are similar enough that they can all communicate in their native tongue with one another.. and one could easily argue they are almost different dialects of the same language, yet for all intents and purposes we classify them as separate languages, but they clearly all originated from the same place at some point in time.

I'm not so well versed in asian languages, but i would imagine the same is probably true for certain, separate Asian languages.

Dumb Americans seems to forget that George Washington was British, and then betrayed the crown to start his own country. The British crown lended vast amounts of money to Washington for them to conquer America, and when the crown demanded their money back, Washington and co just gave them the finger. Then started the tax wars, which eventually led to the American revolution - which Washington won thanks to France, BTW.

Almost every single white American today have European ancestors, because America was founded by British people, who then betrayed the UK.

Good question, not really sure about the history of these Nordic countries but I think this is a bit different because none of these countries can lay exclusive claim to a singular nordic language from which they branch out from. And the fact that they distinguish the language by calling it "Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish", etc. Nobody calls english spoken in America, "American" nor is "American" written as its official language. And is clearly inherited from an empire/nation which still more or less exists today (i.e: there is no "Norseland" that exists).

Jamaican Patois or Guyanese creole I would consider their own languages. Like I would not be able to understand patois lol. Or Haitian/Mauritian creole, a French person may be able to fit bits and pieces of the language together to figure out the jist of what a person is saying but it would be difficult for them to understand.

Americans love to distinguish themselves from the Brits though, and basically the revolution resulted in a distinct separation from British rule and they didn't want anything to do with the Brits after that. But they did not distinguish themselves in terms of having their own language to cement that and are binded to them by that fact.

Yes they have common ancestry but that isn't really the point. English (simplified) is cope.

Yet we say the Scandinavian languages (Nordic languages are different btw, for example fins cannot communicate with Scandinavians in their native tongue, its completely different) are distinct languages, but we don't for American-English/British-English. So what's the difference, is it just arbitrary definitions? So under this logic couldn't we simply define American-English as it's own language if we wished?

That's part of my point, just call the language American to at least say hey we have our own different language.

Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish are distinct but mutually intelligible languages but in this case which of those languages came first? And which of these languages would just simply be very similar offshoots of it. For example, if Norwegian was the first and original language, then Finnish and Swedish would technically be dialects of it, but just called Finnish and Swedish.
