Why do tradies wear their reflective safety wear as casual wear?

brb was in wal mart and saw at least 3-4+ dudes wearing their dirty velcro safety vests (they werent walmart workers). The jackets are kind of reasonable cuz they get them for free and its protection but why wear the vest when your out and about? its so easy to take off JUST LOL

would you have the same issue if you saw a white collar worker wearing a tie in walmart? They are just as easy to take off...

They have to let everyone know they work long days of hard manual labor for $55k/yr. in order to keep the ice in some CEO's drink cold.

yeah but they take 2 seconds to take off and looks better without it. also lol at tie defense. a tie looks good, not some dirty ripped safety vest JUST LOL

Where is "here"? What profession? And are you talking specifically about Commiefornia, where cost of living is outrageous and half of your LGBTQ land burns on the regular?
