-squat toilets (even if they also have regular ones)
-alcohol not freely available
-regulations on how people dress
-“prayers” blasted on crappy loudspeakers in public places at regular intervals during the day

Aussie brah here.

I’d never go to anywhere in the Middle East, not even UAE- brb boring skyscrapers in the middle of a boiling hot desert, alcohol is illegal, expensive as ****, rich kernts showing off their Porche’s every block.

I wouldn’t go to communist ****holes like North Korea and China, or dull, sterile Asian countries like Singapore where you can’t even chew ****ing chewing gum. Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Japan, and Korea are the only Asian countries I have interest in visiting.

I wouldn’t go to any boring “beach destinations” that offer nothing else of substance eg. Fiji and Hawaii (I know Hawaii isn’t a country)

I’d do a Europe trip once and hit all the countries I wanna see over a period of 2-3 months but probably wouldn’t have any interest in going back once I’ve seen what it’s like.

US- I’m undecided on depending if they can get their **** together post-covid. Would be cool to see NYC, Vegas and Miami but coming from Australia think the rest would be pretty dull/similar and not worth a 20+ hour plane flight. I also think all the superficial, arrogant wannabes in LA would make me wanna smash my head through a glass window, even though Aussies seem to love that place. Canada also in the same boat- too similar to Stralia.

India- Maybe for a week for the experience and to gain an appreciation of home.

South America- Not at the moment. Maybe when I’m a bit older and don’t mind copping a knife to the gut or a bullet through the head. Brazil, Argentina and Colombia seem interesting.

I’ve obviously thought about this topic a lot lol
