Alcohol is for low tier humans
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Alcohol turns into rotting, it makes you useless during and after use.

The other stuff you speak of, that stuff I can rebuild an engine on lol, makes things more fun, always has, probably always will.

Just turned 30.

Can't stand getting drunk anymore. I lose an entire day of productivity because I get the most crippling hangovers. Fuk that nonsense.

I feel you. I just make excuses.

Haven’t even thought about the gym since Laura about five weeks ago or so. I was doing great too.

Being physically fit plays a huge role in mental fitness. And that is something I need to work on for sure.

i agree with you op, alcohol is majorly over rated. i think most people come to that conclusion after enough hangovers. besides, it screws up cutting. id much rather have abs than get drunk

Besides a glass of wine or good beer with a complimentary meal I really dont enjoy drinking at all. Could also do without it then too.

I’ve noticed over the last few years that whenever I drink, I get kind of depressed or something for a few days after. Makes me feel weak. I also use MJ daily so maybe the combo is just too much for me?

I dont mind drinking in a social setting, however the next day is a waste.

Also the amount of money spent is ridiculous.

Never been much of a drinker. I'll have a glass of wine or mixed drink sometimes when socializing but def don't drink here at home alone.

If youre gonna drink at least check out a nice brewery or distillery, no point in getting trashed. I dont understand slamming a pack of natty or w/e if youre not in college

Glad I’m not the only one. Quite odd tbh. I thought it was from 420 for a while, but now I notice it only happens the few days after I drink. Even if I only have a few. Fuuuuark

love a drink with all my mates. don't get super hang overs either so next day i'm pretty good. saying that i don't think i've had many drinks this whole year, maybe a couple of times right at the start. its pretty expensive though. i have mates who are so tight with money, but they will blow $200 a weekend drinking at bars

I like a good buzz, but that's it. I'm 30 now and heavy drinking sets me back 1.5-2 days now, which I'm not really cool with. On top of that, it's a money sink and puts me further back on my fitness goals, so I'm cutting back heavily and trying to avoid anything more than 1-2 drinks per week, unless it's a really special occasion (i.e. weddings, milestone birthday, haven't seen a friend since forever, etc.).
