On phone so can’t take that test

But I average 115 wpm with 90-95% accuracy. Being dyslexic, it’s not too shabby.

141 with a mechanical keyboard. Going to go on a nerdy limb and estimate closer to 200 with a chiclet keyboard. Thank you my young teen years of CS 1.6 and League of Legends. Although the once raging, flaming gaming chat box has since cooled off, I can at least look good taking live notes while presenting screen-shared for work, and have something to offer a Misc. thread?

First try on the crappy work setup, not gonna keep plugging away because I don't want to annoy my coworkers here

Don't have perfect typing technique and don't really care to since typing speed is already not a limiting factor on any of my work

Very slow this morning - it's also weird to type 'random words' instead of sentences/paragraphs like on Typeracer.

At my office there are a few senior management types who still reminisce fondly over "typing pools". As smart as some are, it feels like cope for them not to recognize that typing with 2 fingers is terrible (efficiency-wise) in an office environment.

yea, it feels choppy. like it breaks up the flow. you kind of have to stop to make sure its the right word instead of a fluid sentence

Second attempt. Still felt I could do better. That's a really easy test.

114. But I've taken tests that were longer than 1 minute and gotten 130 - 150 range. I pick up speed as I go.

As long as you are talking about an average or rate and not a total word count, then I'll allow it.
