I don't know. They usually only say "step" like one time in the beginning then the rest of the time say "sister/mom", but that one "step" it totally kills the entire film. They are only really saying step for legal reasons. It's just like that "teen" crap where the girl looks really young and they emphisize how she just turned 18, we know what's really up.
