Women are savage af: Australian politics edition

Background:
New South Wales (capital = Sydney) is Australia's most populous state
Its centre-right Premier (equivalent to a governor in USA?) is Gladys Berejiklian.
She's no HBB and has a funny name and has no husband or children or (seemingly) personal life at all, but is pretty popular based on what seems to be basic competence - for example keeping covid under control without putting everyone under house arrest.

But today as part of a corruption investigation into another politician we learned that she had actually been rooting him while he was doing corrupt things.

Anyway the bit relevant to the Misc is some of the lines she used when suggesting why she kept the relationship secret and why she allegedly wasn't aware of what he was up to ..

On why she never mentioned the relationship:
I didn't feel the relationship has sufficient substance for it to be made public
On why she didn't know learn what he was up to despite him telling her:
Ms Berejiklian said she often wasn't listening to "big talker" Maguire in their conversations

I don't have a favorite team, but went out with the boyos to a dive bar and drank PBR. NBA finals and Seahawks vs Vikings, whoa, excellent game through out. I also had a $3 hot dog. It was OK.
