This happened down the road from me. Dude is a idiot. You cannot pull a gun unless your life is in immediate danger and if you pull that gun out, you better be willing to start shooting.

This is why I recommend in Idaho for everyone to take the Enhanced Carry Class. Its a huge eye opener for what legal and whats not. I get the 2nd amendment right to conceal if you can legally possess a gun. Also a 1 day class I don't think is asking too much. Too many people buying guns, not shooting them and conceal carry them. They do not know the laws but dude is going to find out the hard way.
