Haha saw the title and came in expecting Adama Traore.

Leaving satisfied.

He claims he has to avoid weights because he's already too big to play soccer effectively, though it doesn't look that way on the field!

Go Wolves!

I believe it. Mike Tyson in his prime never touched a weight either. Genetics with the right supps can do miracles with just bodyweight exercises.

And he doesnt lift iron or free weights, but that doesnt mean he doesnt reach or seeks hypertrophy OP. He does other kind of fuked up workouts with the fanciest equipment and machines you will ever see

He lifts all the time. You can have a good physique just playing soccer. I did. But to actually get big like him takes actual weight training, which he does. "calisthenics" is part of weight training. All players at that level typically do some. He probably thinks using machines isn't weight training too lol.

He's a liar. Doesn't matter how good your genetics are, he does weight train. We had a kid from haiti on our teams that would say that. Would constantly find him doing push ups, pull ups, etc. When I was a freshman we had a senior from the Congo. 6'2 205lbs shredded to the bone. He worked out more than anyone on top of playing.

This dude is a fukking loser lying about it.

I have a hard time believing it. Even super jacked manlet elite level (World class) gymnasts use weights for accessory exercises to balance out physiques/muscle groups. Another thing is, while some calisthenics movements can offer extraordinary development to certain areas. Its highly unlikely a soccer player is going to spend hours every single day for years learning the technique and building strength for advanced calisthenics routines. Lastly. I know a lot of former soccer players. There is absolutely no way he achieved that mass and is obtaining it naturally. There is a reason why high level soccer players are lean/skinny as a rule.

Cliffs: He has the physique of a gym rat running a 5-6 day split, that's cycling anabolics. But no doubt claims he's natural and only does a little bit of body weight calisthenics to stay 'fit'.

Yes he's on PEDs and lifts. He's lying to look cooler than he actually is.

He’s the best player to watch because he doesn’t hit the ground when he’s tackled. He stands his ground or keeps on running. Defenders have become so used to an waving a foot at an attacker who then dives and the game stops and restarts. With Traore they have to relearn how to stop someone who just keeps on going. Hopefully it will catch on!

Good point. His physique does look more balanced than it should if he did all calisthenics. Tyson I believe because his physique wasn't as balanced.

What kind of workout do you think Ronaldo does? He used to be pretty big in size but now he really slimmed down to retain that pace so its understandable

For this guy it might be possible he doesn't train with weights. I say that cause I had a friend growing up that was 5'9 145lbs and built very similar to that. He skateboarding 6+ hours per day and only did pushups, pullups, situps, planks, etc. in the mornings. Again my buddy looked very similar except he was a bit leaner.

A super athletic teenager with no access to weights, a gym, or gear but did physical activity for 6-7 hour a day on a school day and 10+ hours a day on the weekends. Insane genetics. We had no knowledge of steroids or weight training at that time.

That dude is most likely using enhancements since he is a pro athlete and has plenty of muscular stimulation along the way without lifting iron 'weights'. (Probably uses bands and other forms of training)
