Anybody here do six days a week for work?
Just curious how long and how it is going for you? Is that your life for the foreseeable future? And do you miss the 2nd day off?
Gracias.
Gracias.

Did six days / week for five years. Made a lot of progress in my career. Now I'm down to five. It's sustainable if you enjoy your job and aren't lazy.

I'll misc you, brahs!

I usually do my curl and push up routine about 2-3 times a week, works pretty good
I have a dream today. I have a dream that one day every valley shall be engulfed, every hill shall be exalted and every mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plains and the crooked places will be made straight and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together.

I've been doing it the last few months. I get double time and reserve Saturdays for chill stuff like layout or having laborers prep material for the coming week
Thanks for your input, you frauding fat slampig-Sirfapsalot '20

Yeah been doing 6 days a week 10 hours a day, sometimes even 7 days a week doing concrete forms in the summer. Brutal ass work. Though I actually enjoyed it, shooting the **** with the older guys while they feed you good life advice here and there. Some cool dudes, will probably do it again next summer.

Work for my neighbor's (who I grew up with) company. Smallish business e-commerce. Not tiny but not huge like Amazon by any means.
I am a manager for them, although now both the kids work their now so I now have less responsibility and basically feel like I am just wasting time there now. Applying for jobs now.
Have been working 6 days a week for 2 years. Worked there for 7 years now. Beginning of covid from march-may I worked 13 days on and 1 day off.
I don't regret it financially because I was able to pay off all my student loans early while working a job that I have down to a T and enjoy the people I work with. Pretty much can do what I want. I'm hourly so I get overtime for it.
But I honestly can't do it anymore. That's the chitty part about hourly. You can make more, but you end up haven't to give up more time. A lot of saturday nights where I leave early because I have to work 5 hours on sunday. Shorter day but I basically set up a the entire next day and all orders for 1.5 days that have been processed with a team of 4 people including me, and it's just annoying.
Fuk I can't wait for a 5 day a week salaried job making more than I am now and don't have to worry about hours and how many I worked for pay.

Coincidentally doing 6 days this week, but only to cover for someone, gives me OT (+1.5x pay for 8 hours).
Contrary to the thread topic, the GOAT seems to be the opposite. 4 days but 10 hours a week. Imagine 3 weekend days. You barely even feel the extra 2 hours per work day, but you definitely feel that third weekend day. I think it's the future for a lot of remote/IT jobs.
