Later, after defending himself and the business, he runs towards police to turn himself in and some more antifa scum scream “get him get him” and a groups of ten+ grown men storm toward the kid, punch him in the back of the head knocking him to the ground, and the first of those to get shot is a dude doing a running jump kick toward the kid’s head while he’s on the ground. He shoots at the remaining attackers and once the antifa scum retreat, he stops shooting and proceeds again toward the police to turn himself in. He will absolutely get off as he is the victim here, and he will likely make some dough suing people. Poor kid.Kyle Rittenhouse, 17, of Antioch, Ill., has been arrested on five felony charges related to the shooting of three people at a protest in Kenosha, Wis. Two of the victims died.
In addition to the felonies, Wisconsin court records show that prosecutors have charged Rittenhouse with one misdemeanor count of possession of a dangerous weapon under the age of 18.
Since Rittenhouse is 17 years old, he would not qualify for a concealed carry permit in Illinois. It is against Wisconsin law for someone younger than 18 to possess “a dangerous weapon.”
This is what is going to sink his defence.
- Gunman crosses state lines.
- Gunman arrives at protest/riot illegally possessing weapon contrary to state law.
- Gunman is filmed at various sites of the protest, indicating an intention to remain a part of the event.
- Eventually, an altercation erupts between gunman and three men, in which men try and disarm gunman.
- Gunman shoots, killing two and seriously injuring a third.
Do you get it? It's all in the character of his possession.
In Illinois. Please see first post, which specifies Wisconsin.
I'll lead you all from the darkness into the light.

I can show you how you're delusional. For example: you've deluded yourself into thinking a currency on a forum (reps) are valuable, even indicative of moral, intellectual, spiritual virtue.
Imagine this: you and your troglodyte homies (Jhamaican) sit in your cave all day trading reps in your Donny Diddle suck-off threads, laughing at the shadows cast by the fire. I come sit by your chains. You immediately try and project your delusion on me, trying to encourage me to care about reps. You say, "Come gargle Donny Diddle's cawk and I'll rep you." I refuse. You neg me and call me a "****" and other dumb words. I remind you that I don't care about reps, because I know said currency has no value, because I know that you and your troglodyte friends have been inflating its value by peddling reps on low quality threads. The rep economy's ****ed - like a Mugabi economy. And its all because NitrogenWidget can't handle COVID-19. Rather than introduce a currency I value (rational argument), you chirp. I get up from beside you and turn to leave the cave, but you continue to remain shackled -- deluded, thinking reps have value.
I get up to leave and you neg me again, despite knowing it does nothing. I leave you to your easily-removable chains in the cave, and depart for the discomfort of the surface world above -- knowing I make quality threads and encourage rational thought regardless of reps

(1) His possession was illegal at first instance
(2) "Property" protected was not his own property. As fact, he lived out of state.
Maybe the jury will acquit, but I'm telling you these are the obstacles his litigation will have to overcome.

All gun laws are infringements, you cannot be for gun ownership then say his possession was illegal.
That said the age charge is incorrect. The law is poorly worded (or intentional) in that the section stating illegal posession for minors only applies to those who are under 16, hunting, or in posession of short barreled weapons.
Not sure why everyone is crying about crossing state lines with a gun. This is common for many states. You can drive from California to Nevada and back with a gun so long as it is legal in both states. Furthermore, Kyle lived about 10-20 minutes away from Kenosha. That would be like my friend and I commuting to his family’s store in Long Beach from several miles where we live to protect it from peaceful riots.
The owner of the businesses which were being protected specifically contacted the militia group for help because police could not prevent rioters from damaging some of his other businesses the previous night. This is irrelevant however, because Kyle was not inciting violence or attempting to agitate protestors, and every single instance of shooting was done in self defense. As stated in an interview he merely wished to provide aid to injured individuals on both sides.
With that said I revert to my original statement, go back to Reddit. You’ll probably like the Socialist gun owners subreddit.

Wisconsin Legislature
948.60 Possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18.
(1) In this section, “dangerous weapon" means any firearm, loaded or unloaded; any electric weapon, as defined in s. 941.295 (1c) (a); metallic knuckles or knuckles of any substance which could be put to the same use with the same or similar effect as metallic knuckles; a nunchaku or any similar weapon consisting of 2 sticks of wood, plastic or metal connected at one end by a length of rope, chain, wire or leather; a cestus or similar material weighted with metal or other substance and worn on the hand; a shuriken or any similar pointed star-like object intended to injure a person when thrown; or a manrikigusari or similar length of chain having weighted ends.
(2)
(a) Any person under 18 years of age who possesses or goes armed with a dangerous weapon is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.
948.60(2)(b)(b) Except as provided in par. (c), any person who intentionally sells, loans or gives a dangerous weapon to a person under 18 years of age is guilty of a Class I felony.
(c) Whoever violates par. (b) is guilty of a Class H felony if the person under 18 years of age under par. (b) discharges the firearm and the discharge causes death to himself, herself or another.
(d) A person under 17 years of age who has violated this subsection is subject to the provisions of ch. 938 unless jurisdiction is waived under s. 938.18 or the person is subject to the jurisdiction of a court of criminal jurisdiction under s. 938.183.

You're conflating provisions.
This section applies only to a person under 18 years of age who possesses or is armed with a rifle or a shotgun if the person is in violation of s. 941.28 or is not in compliance with ss. 29.304 and 29.593. This section applies only to an adult who transfers a firearm to a person under 18 years of age if the person under 18 years of age is not in compliance with ss. 29.304 and 29.593 or to an adult who is in violation of s. 941.28.
The exemption applies to short-barrelled shotguns and rifles, envisioned in the purpose of hunting. The purpose of that provision is to allow for a livelihood of hunting, which is a time honoured American tradition. If you're trying to say his possession was legal because it was a weapon to be used in hunting, then I wish you all the luck! Not sure why everyone is crying about crossing state lines with a gun. This is common for many states. You can drive from California to Nevada and back with a gun so long as it is legal in both states. Furthermore, Kyle lived about 10-20 minutes away from Kenosha. A creative lawyer could easily ruin OC's case by insisting on a federalism angle. State's rights being state's rights, and all."There may also, frankly, be federal laws that he's violated because he crossed state lines with a gun that definitely was manufactured in interstate commerce," Cotton says.

I wish my learned friend all the success in proving this argument, your Honour.I further wish my learned friend EVEN more luck, given the present anti-militia climate in the United States following the treasonous attempt on the Michigan governor two weeks back.

I will put you in the ground any day or week chief.

For real though, quote all the laws you want - I saw the videos. No jury is convicting that kid of anything other than maybe the carrying a firearm across the state. Those were righteous kills.

In to see wincel the twink blown out again. The poor child is absolutely deluded, when he loses, he thinks he is winning. That’s why he can take it, time after time. I get tired of seeing wincel get blown out usually, but I haven’t been on here much and would like to see wincel get blown out, yet again, tonight.
Entire NYPD should go on strike. You'll see then how quickly the mayor changes his tone.
