You shouldn't be able to delete any comment or remove likes etc. People get to enjoy the positive free marketing of youtube but the minute it backfires they are allowed to suffer no consequences?

Remember the Diablo IV announcement? They reuploaded the trailer several times to try reset dislikes then they started editing the count under the pretense of "DISLIKE BOTS". They were disliking comments that didn't break any TOS. Comments like "NO KING RULES FOREVER" where getting delete ROFL. I still have a screeny of I think the second reupload with 300k dislikes.

Anyway I'll say the same NPC response I do with these blatantly woke movies in Hollywood. Stop supporting them, that's all you can do. Hero movies, whatever it is, stop giving them ticket sales.

Whether it's a razor blade company, an airline, a Hollywood franchise you can only speak up by closing your wallet.

No other country would have it's own race market so hard for others and have so much self-hate and guilt. Complete subservient behavior and deliberate editing of source material to appear somehow moral or noble for a pointless cause.

It's racist for a white European story to be represented by white characters. If you don't see this movie you are racist. If the movie has low box office sales it will highlight the white supremacy epidemic.

JFL at how transparent it all is.

It was racist for him saying he wasn't going to cast white males in his movies, not because he was going to create more black characters. But you already knew that.

After he explained he wants to make movies with black cast members and that that is a formula he doesn't "want to mess with". That is the context. It was not some spontaneous, isolated admission of a racist motive. It was in direct reference for his desire to create black characters that was state beforehand.

Discriminatory? Yes. Racist? I suppose if you need it to be you can make it fit. It's a stretch, though, not that I think you have a problem with that since you already stretched the truth by saying that he said he "wasn't going to cast white males in his movies" when what he actually said was "I don't see myself casting a white dude as a lead in my movie". That means he will cast white men in his movies. I dunno if you appreciate the difference. It does not sound like you do.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

Wait, so flat out saying you won't cast people of a particular race is a stretch to call racist? Imagine if it was reversed what would happen.

And you're right about the comment applying to lead roles, I did state incorrectly. Doesn't make it less racist

Won't =/= "can't see myself". This matters because what preceded the statement was his vision as a creator and what he wants to create: black characters. His priviledge of being able to say it without having his career ruined doesn't make what he envisions as a creator racist.

If he said I want to make black characters so I don't have to cast white actors I would agree that that is racist. Saying I don't see myself casting a white male because I want to create black characters is someone being honest.

If a white man wants to marry a white woman because he wants to create white kids, and says "I don't see myself marrying a black woman" is he now racist towards? According to SJW culture, yes. But between you and I let's be honest. No. That's not racist.

lol not sure if srs

terrible examples. Scarlett Johansson got brutally attacked by the media for that. That does the opposite of support your point. How are you suppsoed to cast post surgery Michael Jackson? Probably a white woman tbh.

And do you really think a few chitty examples that go against the trend are evidence that the trend doesn't exist? Seriously bro . . .

Unfortunately our generation is taking the brunt of this transition from white supremacy to equality. And on the way, the pendulum is going to swing too far the other way (which is happening now). Although perhaps it won't ever settle in the middle, looking at birthrates, we can only hope that our coloured friends be as kind to us as we are to them now. There is literally zero reason to re-do all these films, let alone re-do them with actors that don't even look the way the creator intended them to.

And anyway, where are the Asians in these films? It wouldn't be so obvious if you actually made the cast diverse, rather than just throw a load of black people in it. Zero Indians, Chinese, Latin etc. Absolute joke.

They are just actors who are playing a role from a script. I don’t see anything wrong with this and the whole cast seems to be different races.

My point was to get someone to move the goalposts from "can't do it" to "can't do it without backlash" so that I can show them how that doesn't apply to just white actors. Which I did.

You know what? You're right in the sense that it is being honest. I firmly believe that a business owner should be allowed to refuse service to anyone they want for any reason and the market will either reward them or cause them to lose their business as a result.

But we are going to have to agree to disagree that it isn't racist because we both know exactly what would happen if a white director said that about black actors.

I also don't see your marriage analogy as working. A person cannot help what they are attracted to. Doesn't make them against any race, just not what they're attracted to. Now if that man said he didn't want to marry a black woman because he didn't want more black babies in the world, that would indeed be racist. If that man says he wants to have babies with a white woman because that's what he's attracted to, then that's different.

This is a good point.

So you're not actually challenging the statement at all, just picking at the semantics of the wording of one guy's statement. Ok.

Make all the antagonists white. Change all the protagonists to black...EXCEPT leave the love interest mother white so you can get on that blacked .com time.
