a ghost gun has no metal parts and doesn't exist

The FGC-9 (**** Gun Control 9) is 90% 3d printed, instructions are included for rifling a barrel with electromagnets out of a $20 piece of hardware, + an airsoft trigger assembly. All unregulated parts even in the most cucked of countries.

I don't have a 3D printer and I would never shoot one of those guns. They're more liable to explode in your face than actually shoot a round through the chamber. Why not just share them on BT.

You may be surprised to learn that Americans have been building firearms for centuries. It is entirely legal in America for a person to construct a fully functional gun if it is for personal use.

It is illegal to create ghost-guns, which are firearms that are not detected by a metal detector, as per the Undetectable Firearms Act in 2013.

State and local governments can pass legislation without having to wait for the federal government to act. States like New York, for instance, have proposed legislation requiring a person making a 3D-printed gun to be a licensed gunsmith as well as requiring possessors of 3D-printed guns to register them with the state.

Furthermore, New York and Washington, D.C., have proposed criminalizing possession of a 3D-printed firearm. Unfortunately, none of these proposed laws has ever become law.

I've been thinking about buying a 3d printer for a while to print architecture models for my studio and what not, over here guns are pretty restricted so this is VERY interesting to me. Can you print them with basic 3d printers like the one posted above or do you need one of the bigger fancier ones?



To get a model done from a pro conventional modeler is so phucking expensive, last time i checked about 3d printers they were still expensive and slow but that was years ago might want to get one nowadays

What about ammo, you can't print that what's the alternative if you can't just buy it at the store?

I wouldn't fire a homemade gun the same way I wouldn't fly in a homemade plane.

what are the appeal of these? with some many ways to get real guns and gun parts, why would you do this? because you are a felon or something?

I’d be shocked if it still doesn’t put you on a list. Watched a video a bit ago about ATF raiding a guy for buying diesel oil filters. I don’t get it. If you are in a country that doesn’t allow firearms. You’d be fked if you ever actually had to use it. If you’re in the states and a felon, still fkd. If not a felon, why not just buy a manufactured reliable gun?

lot of people are very anti-registration so you manufacture the part the government considers "the gun"

can't kick down your door to seize something that they don't know exists

at some point though i think these guys have just taken it to be an exercise in engineering, trying to min-max what a 3d print is capable of

Or you could buy from a private party or gun show and have a reliable gun if you were anti registration. I could maybe see it as last resort after they came and seized your guns. But certainly not before
