My cow just had a calf

Been up for two days, boys. Every 2 hours going to the barn to check on her. Last time the calf got stuck and she almost died. I went the barn around 3am, nothing. Went back at 5am, there was the calf and proud mom. She looked at me when I came in and let out a strong MOOOO.

A half angus, half ayreshire cross heifer. feel exhausted, proud, and happy.

Calf reps. My dad owns a few head and we've been fortunate that none have gotten stuck, the farm is a good ways from his house so it would be hard to watch every one of them.
He did have one stillborn (with no hair, weird), but other than that very fortunate. Congrats!!

Had a weird kid in my class who had an uncle with a few farm animals. Bunch of chickens, cows, goats etc. He told me his favorite time was whenever a cow would get a calf.
I asked him why. He told me calves gave the best bj's and that he couldn't even last a minute. They think it's the mother cow's utter or something.
