Well based on the position of the screws in the handle I can't imagine the blade has a rat tail tang unless the manufacturer decided to break the tang into little pieces.

Screws are often used to hold handle components together and give the appearance of a full tang on cheap knives

the BK-2 is a sharpened crowbar - its awesome. I picked up the BK18 harpoon a couple months ago though - probably my favorite Becker now. Great size for everything but batoning wood.
