Wow, the world is a real heavy dark place right now boyos...

Has anyone else been feeling the effects of it lately? It feels like there's a lot of animosity, a lot of hatred going on and it's bad energy.

I personally have been wanting to tune out of it because it's really just draining, it's also overstimulating to log on to Youtube or ******** and see constant news stories about the bad.

I never really believed 2020 was a rough year, but it's feeling more like it with 2 months left.

are we as bad off as the civil rights movement in the 1960s?
Vietnam war?
cold war?
Great depression?
stock market crash?
world trade center attacks and the war in the middle east?

yeah, no. Its just the news and the world having to be in some sort of conflict all the time. Nothing nearly as serious as other decades have been in the last 100 years, and thats only 100 years, go back 2000 years and there has been much worse.

I've clocked out of all that chit. People will ask me "did you watch this last night?! How about that!?! OMG this guy said this!" I'll just see some stuff on YT or here and that's it.

I don't care. I'm pretty content right now. It's not a good thing though because I'd rather be crushing, but it's kind of a waiting game right now with what's going on.

Just do some other stuff like read, lift, work on yourself and stay away from a lot of the bullchit if you can. It'll all passover

Fair enough. Im doing that but still keeping my eyes open to the news and crap. Not voting or anything but still paying attention because I personally believe the stuff going on right now is going to affect us for possibly the rest of our lives. This chit is worst than 9/11. You want to be prepared for what's to come and not be blindsided.

I am too. I guess I made it seem like I'm just in lala land but I'm not. I watch a few videos that discuss everything daily. I'll look into stuff myself of what is going on, conspiracy theories, ideas, etc.

I just don't watch any news at all. Didn't watch the debate, nor the town hall stuff, or any interviews. No major news stories from outlets. That's all political theater I don't care about. Trust me I am all about preparation right now. No debt, growing my own food, figuring out future depending on what happens, career path for future, investing path for future, etc.

I was saying for OP to just clock out a bit and not keep listening to the news or current situation if it is really weighing on him mentally. \
