I don't understand. In the first Borat, I thought everyone who was in the film had to sign waivers and agree for their footage to actually be in it. There's no way Giuliani (or any high profile person from this movie, or the first) were put into the movie without their consent is there?

In the first one, I am really supposed to believe that Pamela Anderson didn't have a clue what was going on?

Honestly, dude went full rube on an obvious honey trap.

He didn't do anything wrong, it's just unbelievably stupid to fall for it. Even the private sector is well-aware of this and people in sensitive positions are trained on it. Every year about this time, our local sheriff's department has to issue a PSA reminding people this age not to wire all their money to some dude in India pretending to be their grandson. I get the conjecture. I'm most curious about the actual investigation revealed through the the case identification number. The CIN is coded to the white collar fraud section but doesn't mean there is an investigation. Interested to see if it is an open case or they closed it and never dug into it.
