I like the golden delicious, the yellow light green ones. I prefer pears to be honest tho.

Pear crew. Went picking pears with my son about a month ago and my wife's grandmother made some preserves. Pair them with some homemade biscuits for the ultimate hhnnnnnnnggggggg experience

If I'm being honest I think I like pears better just because I have good memories of them from my childhood. My mom's parents had a couple pear trees in the yard and we'd pick the fruit off of. It's too hot here for apple trees. We do grow some great Japanese plums and satsumas though

Mirin hard. Over here is too hot aswell for pears and apples so most of the ones we get are imported so you can't really get them fresh. Would sell my sould for a pear tree in my garden hnnnnggg
