Slowly dawned on me my roommate is one of these “pranking” *******s
Idk what's happening. He seemed so normal when we met. Now he's literally terrorizing me in our apartment. He just keeps...scaring me and messing with me. For example...
1-He hides in the cupboard under the sink and bursts through the doors and screams. I literally fell on my arse when he did that.
2- He will wait behind corners in the apartment and jump out and scare me with a mask on.
3- He takes chits in my toilet, doesn't flush, but instead puts his space heater in the small bathroom and cranks it up to roast his chit.
4- If he hears me having sex with my GF, he will bang on my door and scream "Fukin Nice Bro! Woo!"
I've confronted him about this calmly, aggressively, but he won't stop. I'm debating breaking the lease but my contract is up in August. Not sure what to do.

You'd need to research your rights as a renter breaking the lease before you just up and do that. In the U.S. for example, most states require rental landlords to make a reasonable attempt to fill the vacancy with a new tenant as quickly as possible upon your leaving it, thus minimizing future unpaid rent you would owe if they didn't replace you. However, in some places, you're pretty much screwed unless you have some legal excuse like military deployment/domestic abuse issues/the landlord is harassing you to an unreasonable extent. Plus, the fact that you have a roommate probably further complicates all of that.
If you signed it in August, then that's what, 9 1/2 more months left to go on the lease? That's pretty early on to try bailing on it. Some areas will let a landlord allow you to find a replacement tenant, but under the condition that you yourself retain responsibility for any damages or failure to pay rent/utilities on their end. It's a ton of risk that I would suggest avoiding at all costs.
