Anyone sensing a kind of 'communist' vibe from younger people now?

You can't have a communist society and also be a successful society. People aren't going to work hard if their reward is taken from them. Everyone will be doing the bare minimum. If people cannot excel in their business, then why would they make one? Large companies like Amazon and Tesla will move out of America, along with most wealthy people. Society will not advance. Not to mention the government is corrupt and will take advantage given such control like it has happened all the other times under communism

People talking in this thread like we're not already living in a communist (really a fascist oligarchy) state. BRB Fed out right buying equity and bond stakes in corporations. Brb Fed outright supporting municipalities that are failing. Brb supporting companies that have never seen a dime of net income through expansive balance sheet and 0% interest rates.
Whats going on here is this: Anyone with funds in the market are being supported artificially by the states coffers (Fed's coffers). Socialized losses and privatized gains, and those that are in control continue to benefit at the expense of those that aren't. Its not boomers versus zoomers. Its those that have versus those that have not.
All the while the race war dances on and the proles continue to bicker while eating bred and watching the circus (professional sports)
"It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning."
-Hendy Ford.
Spoiler: the good news is perhaps only 0.05% of you actually do understand the monetary system, so the music will play on until our ultimate demise.

If people truly cared about kids' mental health, they would talk about it sparingly and use positive examples from people who understate and overcome their problems. Pull them incrementally back to balance. Instead we imply that being okay is abnormal and they're in a competition to see who can struggle the most with everyday existence.

They're narcissistic about their indoctrination, and smugly pretend to have mental illnesses.

Imagine the anti trust suits against Google holding water..... they don't have a shot.
Understand that at this point in the worlds' history, corporates have far more power than any state (perhaps outside of China, because China operates with no rules with regards to the party). Basically its the Robber Barons running the world, and only 1 state has a shot to contain them, and its the one state you don't want to have power.
Bottom line, the rich will continue to get wildly richer with private armies, private contractors, private island, private surveillance, etc, all joined to the hip of the American state to hold the proles in line. We're looking at a modern day blend of Orwell meets Mussolini in the Brave New World. Get rich, or get ****ed.

I'd suggest a CT, but could be as simple as there's no money in self deprivation.

I'd say Elysium is how we should trend in the next century, but a more modest idea would likely be cultivated in reality, thinking of perhaps a billionaire's floating island that is isolated from the rest of the world, guarded by a private militia. Something of that nature.
EDIT: Fuark, I gotta give netflix a call, I'ma bout to be greenlit with that one.

In mad max for instance the feminists have poisoned their utopia. End up destroy 3 functioning communities that have established trade and a hierarchy system. Right at the end they open the water gates to the unwashed masses without though of how much water there is available or any future planning
