Think a 315x20 bench* is possible natty?

* can be slightly sloppy in form. As in not entirely not locked out for example

Thoughts?

100%. You can really put up some big numbers as a natty.

The thing is it will take a longer time to get there.

Also strength will typically involve a natty being high body fat percentage and not as aesthetic. I doubt I'll ever hit 315x20 natty but that is also because of my build. If you're natty but built to bench, you can hit 315x20 down the line bloatmaxxing.

Possible? Yeah. Likely? No. Likely while aesthetic? No, that’s 1 in a million.

Yeah. There is a miscer who does Eric Spoto's BP system and can bench 405 for 15-20 or so. He has posted a video of 315 x 20 or 30 before. I cant remember his username though

That's like a 425 bench max I think. Given how the guy is not a bloadlord, he's definitely on something or has been on something in the past

I’m sure it varies person to person but for me it would be a 485 bench based off of my 1rm and 20rm vals

But if I trained specifically for 20 rep sets maybe that ratio would flatten a bit and maybe like a 450 max

Now that I think about it you're right. I just remembered doing 225x15 when I hit 315 but scaling doesn't really work. It should be at least 450 max which maxes natty claim all the more unealistic

That can’t be natty.....his arms/body in general is way too small for me to believe he’s lifting that natty. If he was 400lbs body weight of bloat I could believe it

I think it's definitely possible if you have the genetics. There are probably bloatcels out there (like Samoans, for example) that can bench 315 with zero lifting experience.

Very strong guy.

Saw his other vid which I attached. I have had 20 years in the gym. Seen a few guys like this over the years. Just perfect leverages. Dont really look all that huge and can generate all kinds of power. Guy at my old gym used to incline 495x5-6. He was proabably 250lbs 20-25%bf. He worked as a jack man on a NASCAR pit crew. Just freaky strong.

His bar speed is crazy. I have got 12 reps w/ 315 which gave me a PB comp raw paused lift of 420. Wonder what this dudes max might have been. EASILY a 500+ bencher which I have only seen a few times in my life by guys nattie or not. Crazy impressive. My guess is the guy is probably naturally just that crazy cock strong.

Keep in mind that the bench press record pre steroids was like 400 lbs lol. Of course there are several more variables to it but still.....

I am calling 100% bull chit here. neither are natty. Jen Thompson is probably the world's best female bench presser in the world (pretty hot too) and she is an member of USA Powerlifting, which is drug tested. Her BP is 320. Granted, she is 132ish ponds. Neither that guy or that black girl is natty at all.

Edit: Didnt see the YT video in the OP. That old guy could be batty but he could also be on the juice. The military only tests for narcotics UNLESS they suspect you are on something that is banned and even then, you'd have to piss off one of your superiors for them to want to test you. The guy seems a bit old so i am leaning more towards him being on TRT or prohormones because you canEASILYfind them at any supplement store anywhere near a military post these days. They tweak the formula so its nottechnicallya pro-hormone chemically even though it works just like it

Yeah he is enhanced. No doubt about it. My best is 465 @ about 240 lbs (1RM). I highly doubt a natty lifter could even approach 500 lbs

Who cares what your best is? Does that mean you are the strongest to ever walk the planet.

Like I said, in my 20 years in the gym I have seen a few guys like this. My guess is the guy is natural 100%. His recruitment is crazy. Look at the bar speed. I could do 315x12 but the bar was slow as hell. This guy makes 315 look like 135.

Combination of fiber type make up and perfect leverages. Just perfectly blessed and probably never really had had to train like many of us. His form is far from perfect or refined. Just plain cock strong

Then why was the record pre roids only 400 lbs? Nutrition, training and sample size may come in to play, but let’s not pretend like a true 500 lbs bench isnt exceedingly rare to the point that it is much safer to assume that any 500 lbs bencher is more than likely enhanced.
