It's disgusting. If a girl is raped and doesn't want to have the baby I can understand that and realize its a tough decision to make. If you make exceptions for rape and incest though you fall down a rabbit hole where guys who had consensual sex are going to get investigated for rape if the girl doesn't want the baby and it would end up being a mess. I say keep it legal and don't publicly fund it but also don't put an abortion clinic on every street corner. A lot of women who've had them have very serious, lifelong psychological problems because of it and maybe if the people didn't speak about it like it was nothing more than getting a mole removed. Also the procedure runs the risk of causing permanent fertility problems later on in life.

Another interesting fact is that abortion advocates are usually middle class, college educated white women. If you look at the stats these women hardly ever get abortions. Most abortions are performed on poor black women. I saw a stat a while back where 70% of pregnancies by black women in NYC ended up with an abortion. That stat still blows my mind. It IS a womens right issue. While the father can always go away and disappear with a fake name the woman has to bear the child during pregnancy, endure labor and then raise the child for at least 18 years. That's the product of our society. Abortions are legal right now, and kids are taught that they are okay. I was taught that in school. Also, the government created a lovely system that pays whores to have kids making being a whore a win win situation. Have tons of sex and get pregnant? Okay well just kill it and feel okay about it because society says so, or keep it and let the government pay you. This isn't a women's rights issue. This is murder. If a women wants to be irresponsible, then that is on her. In the good old days if this happened and the man ran away, the woman would have the baby and the community of mothers (remember women used to be stay at home moms and not working in a cubicle) would take care of the child. There used to be this thing called community back in the day. Then usually the woman would realize the error of her ways because she would typically be socially outcasted and even church would make her stand in the back. Women don't want that, so they won't be going around be promiscuous. There are major ramifications to doing so.

The only problem is that the entirety of our culture is no longer based on religious morals and principles. It is 100% based on cultural decay and atrociousness. So, there will always be mass abortions because promiscuity is pushed and celebrated. Women are now forced to work, thus making raising kids harder.

We created this system, and we just went along with it. I can only personally control myself, but I also don't want to be a part of allowing this to be legal and normalized.

Did you just completely gloss over the cheap contraceptives part? A condom isn't the only form, most girls in the US seem to be on some form of oral contraceptive for exactly the purpose of not getting pregnant. At least most girls 18-25 seem to. This isn't Latin America where most girls will have a child by 25, it's a developed country where you can literally buy over the counter contraceptives to take the day after having unprotected sex. You don't even have to be proactive.
