The best squat tip ever
I've been having trouble with my knees caving in when I reach mid squat and I read on a forum here to "try and push the floor apart with your feet" and that's honestly the best tip I've read.
Thanks to who ever it was, I can't remember. Didn't hit a new PR or anything as I'm cutting and energy is low AF but squatting felt really good for a change and really engaged my glutes like never before.

My squat's been steadily going up since I've focused on some things:
1. Working on my balance.
Been working hard on training my body to exert equal force on right and left side.
Grew up playing baseball so very imbalanced towards one side, which I've been slowly correcting.
(baseball very one side dominant sport, builds strength and coordination mostly to one side)
2. Strengthening my middle and lower back.
Before I started with those my back was limiting how much I could squat.
Since I've been focusing on those two my squat's been going up about 5 Lbs every two weeks, closing in on 400 Lb. max.
Squat has been going up pretty quickly since gym opened back up from Covid, probably put a good 30 Lbs. on squat over four months or so.

it’s a natural movement. only lead eating imbeciles need to watch videos on how to squat. most guys can’t squat shtt cause they’re mentally weak. serious. put fake 45s on the bar and they’ll squat half their max

Agree to disagree, just because it's a natural movement it doesn't mean form comes naturally with it.
