I've a family member that is in the industry. Growing, manufacturing, selling, and owns a dispensary.


According to him CBD is bullsh!t. At least, 'legal' CBD that doesn't have THC in it. He attributes regular people finding CBD making any kind of a difference purely as a placebo effect.


Obviously it has a great marketing campaign right now. But after talking to him. I have a hard time believing the 'legal' form of CBD has the effects advertised.

I bought a bottle of CBD gummies off amazon a while back. I was hesitant at first so I only took half of one, and didn't notice anything, so I took more... eventually I was eating a handful at a time, and I did not feel anything. I read that a lot of these products don't actually have CBD, but only hemp extract or something... and that amazon couldnt sell actual cbd gummies or something like that... that could be the case, or it could be that CBD is a scam in general.

Oh your family member is definitely wrong here. I'm also involved in both industries, and I greatly prefer marijuana over CBD. (I have $4k+ worth of high grade flower right next to me, srs)

But at the same time, for those who don't want to get high, CBD is the next best thing. (Or better, depending on their issues)

Last week I tried an edible at 10mg thc and 10mg CBN and it ruined my night srs. I was having a bad time, thinking I was gonna stop breathing so I just stayed awake all night.

Ive done alot of different..... things from pepsi to Shrooms to acid to Ex and never felt like that before.

It felt like a mild hallucination especially when I would try to walk, felt like an out of body experience

Is there any scientific evidence that CBD without THC does anything for you? It seems most people are 50/50 claiming it helps or it does nothing. Everyone I know that actually uses MJ says CBD doesn't work and isn't worth your time or money.

Everyone I know that uses MJ claims CBD doesn't do anything. Either CBD only works for non MJ users

I sell CBD and a lot of it. What I can tell you, is most of the loyal CBD customers I have do not use MJ. Most are also 45+ years old with some type of chronic medical condition. They don't want to get high, and don't want to be dependent on pharma pills. It definitely helps them for what they are using it for.

I use mostly MJ for recreational purposes and sleeping so as far as my personal experience CBD helps with both.

I sell other stuff in my store so young people are always coming in and say stuff like "oh that stuff doesn't work". So i hear it all..
