Cops have a target on their back because its an occupation for low lifes

Cameras are only bring their evil deeds to light. You think cops suddenly became bad because people started recording?

It is a power/control thing. Nothing more. Requires zero psychoanalysis.

Cops think they are the law. They are not. This is the Stanford prison experiment real-time and it happens all too often.

Have you ever seen an intoxicated person fall asleep at the wheel? Have you ever seen them get woken up by police then take off and hit someone or crash into a building and hurt themselves and destroy property? I have.

You are making a lot of assumptions about what happened here without knowing all of the facts unless you went and read into it. But from the video you cant conclude the guy wasnt DUI. He also started putting the keys back in the ignition which is when the cop pulled him out of the car.

Well, they kinda are the law? Isn’t that what they do maintain law and order? I try to place myself in the cops shoes and the older man and it doesn’t seem just.

I am not defending the cop im saying assuming the guy was just an innocent man doing nothing but taking a nap and the cops only motive was to beat up on someone for not listening is making a lot of assumptions based on the video alone.

And saying that someone being asleep in their car with the keys in the ignition is not a possible danger to society is foolish. Ive seen multiple videos and personal experience with people deciding last moment to flee from cops, starting their car, and taking off and hurting people.

Technically he did resist, but only because he didn't have the mental capacity to understand the situation.
He pulled the keys out of the ignition and was sitting in the drivers seat, and then attempted to put the keys back in the ignition. Doesnt seem like something a person who was mentally uncapable of driving would do. Mental illness maybe but mental disability I would be reserved about assuming that based on this fact.

Lol, masks are oppressive.

Xenophobic cops who let out their insecurities on the public are okay though.

that is just your uneducated assumption
I dont think anyone would argue defending a cop if that was truly proven to be the purpose of a cop doing something wrong. The issue is you are assuming that and others are saying there are other possibilities and perspectives. You are just hastily rushing to "well he must be just abusing his power and wanting to bash skulls to assert dominance"

Most people sleeping in their cars don't try to drive off when confronted by police.

Police initiate thousands of theses interactions annually.

I'm sure less than 10% do what you claim, not 51%.

so if only 8% of people holding guns shoot cops, cops should never draw their guns? Is there some 51% rule where the only time a cop can act to defend the public is when there is a 51% statistic that danger will happen?

No

I'm saying you should not assume.

I'm saying you should not possibly beat someone to death because of your uneducated assumption.

Cops aren't robots like you think. They are humans, they have faults. No cop would ever be 100% relaxed and in a perfect state of mind when confronting anyone. If anyone gets pulled over and starts acting suspicious, I will side with police. It's like people who refuse to pull their windows down even though they ain't doing anything illegal. It just gives a cop more reason to suspect something is wrong. Mental illness is no excuse for

Not putting your hands on the steering wheel. Resisting arrest. Refusing to stay still and fidgeting every second.

Unless it's blatant corruption. This officer was doing just fine until he decided to beat his skull in.

That's why it's better to just follow directions. If anything goes wrong sue their ass and their body cam.

I wanna see you guys show up over here in the barrio in pitch blackness, if some guy is walking directly towards you with a hoodie on "oh he must just be walking over to say hello"

Cop doesn't know who this guy is. Better safe than dead.
Guy with mental illness should have been told not to act suspect with the police.

Both this cop and victim ****ed up hugely.
