There was an interesting development prior to all this in France. Makes it all suspicious as fuk.

A few months back, there was a conflict between Chechens and some other immigrant groups (some african arabs) who are known drug dealers in France. A Chechen kid got beat up in Dijon by these arabs so Chechens got together and steamrolled their groups in these towns, after cops failed to help. There were some videos posted here on the MISC at the time with crowds of Chechens sweeping through Dijon and an arab trying to plow through them in a car and flipping and getting wrecked.

Later, there were IG videos being posted from French locals thanking Chechens and noting how the cops had been doing absolutely nothing about these drag dealer groups.

Then weird chit starts. These arabs start posting videos of them walking the streets fully armed without the government batting an eye. Instead, shortly the local mayor starts talking about Chechens being a problem and starting drug wars, which even locals came out to deny.

Soon, a guy from russia gets shot in France by some african dude (not Chechen) and French government again builds this up as an example of Chechens causing unrest. This had nothing to do with Chechens in any way.

Then, Macron makes a speech about muslim extremism and all these recent events start. He forgets all about his own outrage over Navalny's poisoning and calls Putin for cooperation against terrorism.
