Milf British Presenter And Psychologist Publicly Comes Out Against Lockdowns
She is a presenter and psychologist on a very popular national British TV show called 'This Morning'.
She warns that national mental health and the working class/poor are being severely damaged by Lockdowns...
She's got some guts. She may have damaged her career by outright opposing the government, but she obviously cares more about the nation than her career.

“The government and media have taught children to be afraid of living”
That’s really the only statement you need to listen to from the video to understand why she’s right about how f*cked up this reaction to covid is
I know she’s talking about UK, but same for US. So many people afraid to live life because they have an unhealthy relationship with death.
That’s really what all of this boils down to. Such an irrational fear of death you let it control you so much it prevents you from living.

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

One guy had an exemption to leave to see his pregnant wife. He was told by the authorities to stay in his home so they could test him. They didn't come, later the police came and arrested him lol. They said that he should have gone to THEM to take the tests... HE WAS TOLD THEY WOULD MEET HIM THOUGH. lol.
Even states with zero cases still have stringent laws and precautions. Where were all these measures for other diseases that seasonally kill just as much? We've already debunked Covid virulently, statistics from independent and world organizations.
Covid has shown how helpless most civilians are to the elite and authority. Now of course, it's nowhere near as bad as countries who have tyrannical-like leaders every day of their lives. At least Americans can be armed, lol @ them trying to remove the last defense block civilians have.
I see it every day how this has permanently changed people's psychology - not for the better. People now acting like their state or country can't possibly ever see ONE case or "It starts all over again". I can't even begin to try argue with that hysterical and uneducated logic.
Governments are using this all as a testing ground to see how far they can push before resistance. The media doesn't help trying to sensationalize everything.
Rather than saying a % of infection death rates. They use total deaths with no fuking time frame so it sounds dire. TWO HUNDREDS THOUSAND DEAD AMERICANS! *DARK MUSIC*. Yeah, no-one else died as well from the other 6 major leading causes and those deaths where over 8 months and other strains killed all around the same ballpark.
It's almost like fiction how far this has gone. Really a bad sign for humanity - just wait until we face an inevitable extinction event or next ice age. Not even that severe, an actual highly virulent plague. Look what's happened over Covid 19--btw there has been previous Covid strains--so imagine if people were dropping dead frequently at any age.

Well said.
I still think the virus is real and it is serious. Still think we should take common sense precautions/not be idiots. Also recognize that overly authoritarian measures are uncalled for and that going too restrictive for too long is damaging.
Don't have the energy to dig it up, but I did post way back that I thought it would be better to keep your kids at home w/online school or a learning pod/home school vs. sending them to school to wear a mask all day and maintain physical distance from their peers. Because the first two options are a kind of blip, a temporary change of routine, while the second is more like conditioning children in how they interact with other humans which could stick with them for a very long time. And it isn't good.

For anyone not aware:
During the first half of the 20th century, many psychologists believed that showing affection towards children was merely a sentimental gesture that served no real purpose. Behaviorist John B. Watson once even went so far as to warn parents, "When you are tempted to pet your child, remember that mother love is a dangerous instrument."
According to many thinkers of the day, affection would only spread diseases and lead to adult psychological problems.
In a series of controversial experiments conducted during the 1960s, Harlow demonstrated the powerful effects of love and in particular, the absence of love.2 By showing the devastating effects of deprivation on young rhesus monkeys, Harlow revealed the importance of a caregiver's love for healthy childhood development.

Since post WWII I'd have to agree the west has developed an unhealthy relationship with death.
Could this be because we have become more secular and consumerist?
When the self is the most important thing, death seems like worst thing imaginable.

I also agree that it is very bad to condition children to accept not having close contact with people. It seems that the youth are being conditioned - knowingly or accidentally - to live an almost completely virtual life.
The Harlow experiments are heartbreaking, even more heartbreaking are the real life children who grew up with no affection (e.g. neglectful Romanian nurseries, and the story of 'feral child' Genie).
