question about bulking
So should I be in calorie surplus only during the days I workout or I should chase that number of calories on rest days as well?
For example right now I will be bulking. I have about 2850 calories to consume to be in a surplus (2550 is in maintenance levels but I'll be gradually adding 300+) but I don't know should I consume those in rest days as well?
I will be working out 3 days a week and if I could list some of you my diet and give me your opinion it would be greatly appreciated

lift more 4 or 5 days a week and I promise you'll get better results, do not listen to anyone who tells you 3 days a week full body is how you build a solid physique.
Regardless eat the 2850 daily, bouncing calories around is advanced chit that no one should concern themselves with until they're at a point they don't have to ask questions about it imo.

dont overthink it. just average 2850/day over weekly periods. a little more or little less here and there won't make a difference.

Creating the schedule is vital imo. Its very easy if you dont have it ingrained in you to wake up and say "I'll just go tomorrow I'm tired today".Aren't rest days for recovery just as essential as lifting? So I think you'd need as many cals on those days as you would the other
Would you recommend lifting more than 3 days even for beginners?

For actual growth its splitting hairs and more or less irrelevant for say your first 6 months, but i've yet to meet someone who says they're gonna go 3 days a week actually go 3 days a week consistently.

the only thing I'd really change is to skip the protein bars and protein powders and just eat a lean meat
