I think its cute that people think the virus will just go away. Its out and no amount of lockdowns will stop it.

We need to live with the virus now.

In March I would have agreed.

It is impossible to eradicate a virus when community spreading already set in.
Yep. I’m loling at all the miscers in here that think the government can stop a virus, or think the government is looking out for your best interests. Yikes.

You run a rotation

No routine check ups, surgeries, no road or workplace accidents so there will be more than enough doctors, GPs to have a group A and B first set for the 10 day period, the second for the following 10 days

You keep back enough police/army to restore law and order for after the period ends

First law of quarantine... you can’t rotate people in and out

That’s the point of quarantine

They arent rotating during that period though. If you are assigned to group A you are away from your family home for that whole 10 days, if you work in a care home you are locked in there for the 10 days, if you are a nurse that remains at work you will sleep in the hospital for 10 days etc

Agree thats why I said Im against lockdowns entirely

When you break it down, everyone under about 70 is putting their lives on hold, losing their jobs/businesses and loading up on government debt and ****ing the economy all for the sake of "saving" the lives of people who won't last more than 5 years whatever happens

2 month world wide complete lock down would rid the virus but here’s the thing no one would do it. Which is why lockdowns are useless.

Thats why 2 month lockdowns dont work

If you kept to 10-14 days its long enough for everyone that has it to recover, but short enough that people can abide by it

Wouldn’t come close to working . The virus lives up to a year in a freezer, so obviously someone will bring out some frozen food and get exposed all over again .
Then it will China flu will grow exponentially again, setting us back to square one .

I did read them, but everything you said after negates it all. Again, very unsurprised, really ties well with the idea of someone who owes obedience to kings and queens. Stay mad, governah.

Plus the reduction - to the point of negation - of most of the fundamental rights that constitute the corollary of what an individual is owed for his human condition... To no practical avail, since the virus would persist through whoever remains in activity (policemen or soldiers, as our crooked teeth OP suggested) or any other non-human vehicles of transmission.

Plus this one, OP:

- Right to mobility
- Right to auto-determination
- Right to resist unrightful laws

Does any of this ring a bell?

Adding another: that any law restrictive of personal rights must be idoneous, necessary and proportional in the strict sense - of which your proposal fails the last two. I can explain why, but it does go against what the House of Windsor teaches you.

Have they even used any of them temporary hospitals, the fact they were built meant they were expecting to deal with a number of patients that hasn't even been reached yet.
