Yes, it's an awesome lesson.

Our ego obviously does not react in a positive way, even when it hears spiritual truth. Instead it rejects the one telling the truth as someone beneath it. The reaction is: 'who the hell is he to tell me how to be spiritual, I'm already way more spiritual than him'.

Not making any assumptions about the actual person behind the internet persona, but one can be a great spiritual teacher without being spiritual at all.

Meh. He's the type of guy who likes to make-believe that he has something profound to say every time he chimes in. 90%+ of the time it's a bunch of fluff he won't even truly stand behind when questioned/called out on it. However, he's harmless. At least he's not making dozens of troll threads with several alts on a daily basis or actually saying assinine chit to people (at least not that I've seen) to people.

That said, this forum is already slow enough as it is. If nothing else, posters like him give the board a little extra traffic without posting anything that really detracts from its overall quality. If anything, you should be more annoyed by the trolls with hundreds of alts that just clutter the place up with endless chit posting. Can't beat trolls like that by giving them attention or hoping the mods can ban them enough times to wear them out and make them leave, though. The only way dedicated trolls actually leave is by the entire forum starving them of the attention that is they so desperately crave.
