Just realized I've got Aphantasia

Complete inability to visualize in my minds eye. I cannot picture anything, hear anything, taste anything, smell anything.

Anyone else dead inside like this?

That must suck. Not only can I picture things vividly, I can imagine smells and tastes as if I was actually experiencing them. Can you do that? Do you have an internal monologue?

Damn that sounds weird, I'm just like 2am with regard to these things. I remember Caeculus posting about this phenomenon before, but I can't recall its proper name.

How could you have any creative processes at all? If you were going to write, or paint, or compose music, how would you do that?

I suck hard at writing imaginative stories and painting. Can't write music at all. I have fapped but only to vague memories rather than vivid images

You see I can't imagine that (if you'll pardon the pun). If I close my eyes and try to picture an apple, I can picture one lifelike, cartoon, blue, red, any colour really. I can rotate it and stretch it and explode it into segments. It just sort of happens spontaneously.

Do you go to sleep easily? My mind keeps me up long after I decide to go to sleep..
