Honestly nick - if you’re taking photos of yourself alone with terrible quality you are going to portray that you are kind of a loner with not a lot going on. Which is probably the case. I mean ask yourself what kind of girl wants to hang with a guy who takes selfies in his dark apartment.

He doesn't necessarily need to cold approach. He needs to pay a photographer who specialises in dating photography to get photos of him, including some candid ones where he's smiling. He then needs to run a selection of those through photofeeler, get them rated by females and pick the best performing ones for his profile.

I did this in August (paid upwards of $300) & now I get far more dates. I used to have 3-4 numbers in my phone per month, now I have upwards of 20. The quality of girls hasn't changed much but the frequency of meets has increased 3x fold I would say.
