It's because the government is basically saying poor whites don't matter and only poor blacks matter.

These poor whites feel like they should be receiving help since it is a "white" country and feel betrayed. They think that they should be helped before anyone else. But the fact is they are receiving help. Poor whites receive more welfare than anyone else in the US but it isn't enough. The bottom line is that they want enough help to put them in a position of power. And it's sad because these whites have had generations of people in the US since the founding of the nation and have zero generational wealth.

These are the undesirables and they feel abandoned. They see black people as inferior and thus shouldn't receive any help despite two CENTURIES of being treated like crap. Really sad. They can't accept that perhaps they are the inferior ones and denigrate themselves to circlejerking on web forums that propagate white supremacy.

Pretty broad assertion you make that poor whites hate blacks. I’m anything but poor, & I have God to thank for that but I grew up in South Chicago, & have lived in Los Angeles, Florida, & Idaho. I have never once in my life seen racism of whites against blacks. Everywhere I have ever gone it is only one group that is protected. There is only one word that you cannot say, no mattter what ethnicity you are unless black. The US has had more government programs to help lift blacks out of poverty than any other country. Wife is multi-racial & she loathes the fact that programs like affirmative action exists. Now we have universities/ schools lowering standards for only one minority group while school led like Harvard are turning down Asians. But you don’t need poverty as a reason for possible dislike. Let’s just look at the numbers.

-Adjusted for population size, blacks commit 25x more violent crimes against whites, than whites do against blacks.
-The rate for black on white aggravated assault is 200x higher
-Black males are 6% of the population but have been responsible for about 50% of the murders in the US for the last 30 years.
-Blacks are responsible for 40% of domestic violence cases despite being only 13% of the population.
-Black men are responsible for 33% of forcible rape, despite only being 6% of the population (side not, "systemic racism" doesn't make you rape someone)
-Additionally poor white communities do not commit crime at the same rate as poor black communities and black people are more violent than white people in every single country where stats are kept.

Racism still exists & that is sad to say but this country like no other has made tremendous strides to remedy the wrongs that have been done. I also find it is mostly white liberals that push for the divide. Growing up in Chicago, racism wasn’t even an afterthought

Yeah, rich successful white people have always gone out of their way to live among poor blacks.
