Stock Futures Surge on Vaccine Results, Biden Win
Treasury Yields Jumped and Crude Prices Soared

U.S. markets on Monday were poised to see one of their strongest opens in months after progress on aCovid-19 vaccineandDemocrat Joe Biden’s electoral victorysent stock futures soaring and boosted companies in the hardest-hit sectors of the economy.

Futures tied to the S&P 500 surged 4.7%, suggesting that last week’s advance, the strongest since April, will resume after the New York opening bell. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures soared 6.2%, with the Dow poised to open 1,500 points higher. Such an open would push the Dow past its intraday record high from February.

Futures tied to the Russell 2000 index of small-cap stocks rose 7%, hitting CME Group Inc.’s limit up, which prevents them from rising further.

Markets rallied after a vaccine developed by Pfizer Inc. and partner BioNTech SE proved better than expected at protecting people from Covid-19 in a pivotal study, a milestone in the hunt for shots that can stop the global pandemic.

The vaccine jolted markets, at least temporarily, reviving the fortunes of the pandemic losers, such as airlines, travel companies and banks. Meanwhile, the pandemic winning stocks, such as big tech companies, performed less well. Tech heavy Nasdaq-100 futures rose 1.5%. Brent crude oil rose more than 9% and European bank stocks shot 9% higher.

Anyone with two working braincells knew that Covid was going to become an after thought if Biden had won the election. It just shows us how hypocritical the media is and it also shows us how our resident libs are easily manipulated by some dude in a suit on tv. Watch as all covid related deaths after Biden is sworn in are suddenly Trump related.

Im not gonna moan too much about it because this sudden reduction in covid related news articles will be helpful for the stock market. Ive got a significant portion of my income invested and it will be nice to see some green numbers instead of the red I kept seeing on my stock portfolio due to the constant covid panic articles.

I went big on Pfizer stock back in March.

I went big on Delta this morning an hour before the market opened.



Today:
Pfizer is up 8.19
Delta is up 14.16%

I got cucked hard in the spring time and bailed on the market when it was low. Sometime in the summer I bought airline and cruise stocks, they are like half price of what they were before covid. It will take a while for them to get back to normal. They are up big today but they have been rollercoasting the last few months. Keeping them for the long term.

Days prior to the election businesses were closing and boarding up in major cities.

The election occurred and Biden has been "anointed" the victory. Yet somehow, there was no rioting, looting and burning of cities.

This post made me realize I misc too much because I mentally changed the word "braincells" to "braincels" and became immediately confused about the syntax of your post. Had to reread that sentence like 11 times to realize why I was confused.
