Oil and Gas

Why the hate on oil and gas developments? Do people not realize it's the only jobs they will get that pay like $1000 per day with little to no training?

Just lol at green environmentalists living in their Van's because their poverty jobs pay $15hr

The Green industry is just another industry with lots of money to be made. You think some rich fuk cares about a tradie no longer having jobs if it results in them getting richer?

Until these politicians get tough on the rest of the world and pollution they don't get to act with moral superiority.

I want to say something but don't want to come off wrong. Look in the oil and gas industry and see what works there. What works there? Got to be a bit rough and tumble not afraid to get your hands dirty. Mostly masculine white males. Affirimitive action isn't going to get you very far. Diversity hire, forget about it, you won't last a week, in fact you might get killed if you aren't tough. Some weenie frail LGBTQ guy isn't going to make it. A woman of color isn't going to find a place there. Your arts degree wont' get you anywhere there. No place for non producers that don't generate revenue. Offended by everything, a sensitive person, you best stay in your city. Got to have tough skin and be tough out there.

“Green” jobs will reach the same pay level when the industry becomes as profitable

Because of the environmental effects, obviously. Plus, the quicker we shift away from oil and gas, the quicker the world can tell Saudi Arabia to go fukk themselves.
Your schtick sucks and it screams insecurity.

Because retards don't realize that oil is used for just about everything. Brb clothes, plastic, heat, transportation, etc. every part of your everyday life comes from the oil and gas industry. But they're too stupid to realize this.

brb guess we need to all stop using plastic and stop wearing clothes.

Yep, can't be sensitive in this field of work.

i know what you mean. however there is zero money to be actually made in "green energy" its a net loss, and must be subsidized by the govt. so we destroy oil industry which is our biggest net gain indusrty and replace it with an endless money pit, sounds great for the economy. LMAO nuclear is the only feasible alternative that could ever work, but greenies hate it.

O&G is awesome. Half the country trying to actively destroy the entire industry though.

I live in an area which is, to a degree, propped up economically by O&G... With a penchant for voting in leftist enviro-wackos

A large portion of the population is simply clueless, even on things which actually impact the lives of them and their loved ones

Greenies hate it because they aren't the ones making money off it. Just industry competition is all.

Just annoys me all these people for green energy pretend to be so altruistic when it is just money they are after. I doubt they really even believe in climate change as much as they pretend because the politicians behind green energy are so freaking soft on China when it comes to pollution.

The US should absolutely be making money off oil and gas if the rest of the world is IMO.
