You ever go to the gym and just walk out again?

Just got in, started my warmup.... then I just thought 'fuk this' and walked out again

Back home having a tea and biscuit now

Anyone ever do this?

Once or twice, yeah. Or just sit in the parking lot with my best "I should buy a boat" energy and finally drive off for a Sonic drink.

Once or twice maybe. Just not good days and I knew I wouldn’t be there mentally so I called it.

Sometimes I go to the gym just to impose myself on the desk staff. Once I get in for free, I proceed to mog each and every manlet posing in front of the DB rack and then I usually kick out the powerlifting manlet with a Rogue headband who is doing squat singles in the bicep curl rack.

Cheers

Yea a few times. I'd rather take the time off and hit it with more motivation when my head is actually in the right place, than just going through the motions being entirely unproductive.

Probably like 5 times. This is the nuclear option when it comes to calling it a day though. Usually you can at least get through one exercise (which usually amps you up enough to get through the rest) or you can still do the full workout but a less intense version of it in terms of weight used or amount of volume.

Also this. I can honestly say that I've regretted not going almost every time, but I've never once regretted forcing myself to workout.

I don't think I have ever done that tbh.

There are times when I wanted to because I wasn't feeling good, or just feeling MEH, but I sucked it up and kept lifting.

Only if I see that pretty much all my equipment I need is being used and I don't wanna wait or otherwise compromise. Sometimes I'll do a couple of workouts and then say F it after a while. Other times I'll realize I'm more sick or suffering from allergies than I thought and leave. Only other thing I can think of is my muscles are more sore than I thought and I'll just do a quick cardio session and dip.

No. One time I pulled up to the gym and it started snowing and I had on shorts and decided to just go home instead.

I don't think so. I think it would be a waste of my time to drive all the way to the gym only to drive back without working out. My workouts aren't that long anyway 30-45 minutes, so even if I don't feel that good, it doesn't seem that daunting to me to do a 30 minute workout.

Couple times when it was crazy busy and I had nothing going on so I said “f*ck this, I’ll come back later”

Do not recommend- I did not go back later.

Never done it once, I would never be able to forgive myself. Even if it was special circumstances and I couldn't go into the gym I'd still find a way to put in work.

No, but I’ve done half asses workouts or skipped an extra set or lift when I didn’t feel much like working out.

If I’m there, I’ll at least do some type of workout. The struggle is going, but I enjoy lifting so much it’s rare when I skip.

I have, I always try to push through a little pain when I'm injured or sick, and I make a minor injury a month or longer recovery.

So these days, if I feel pain on the first set, I will give up and leave the gym these days.

so I go back upstairs and eat breakfast.
