I’ve lived out there for years. Hardly unbearable, I’ve lived out of a sedan in below freezing temps too. You have a job and are in warm weather. Come on brah, put your alligator skin on and be a hard kunt

Landlord checking in.

Call the police srs. She can’t turn off your utilities, that’s illegal. Doesn’t matter if you’re paying under the table. That only affects her, not you.

This is what I’m saying with the excuses and chit..someone could break in or lose it all to a fire or something else. at some point you just have to make it work. You can try ^^^, carry them with you to work, safety deposit box for docs, employer, coworker, rent something, credit cards. There are shelters and organizations to help as well. It’s temporarily, do what you need to do. Everything has some risk.. Do you have a vehicle? it appears you’re a young healthy man, you couldn’t find a physically demanding job that pays 2x min wage? Those jobs are a dime a dozen out there. good luck, hope you figure it out quick srs

pack what you can and leave and spend a week in the car and shower and clean up at the gym. there are shelters out there. find your nearest salvation army, go there, explain what is happening and ask for a referral.

How'd you get yourself into this predicament? I assume you moved to Cali with nothing in your pockets and had to settle for the place you're at?

Also, how does someone rip the windows off?

^Listen to Lefticle, you've got rights boyo. You didn't move in there to be a prisoner

These too, why did you move across the country for a job you knew you didn’t have the required prerequisites for? Now your stuck with paying an expensive expedited class. In one of the highest COL areas, broke with no friends or family and no safety net. What was your thought process?

Yeah, if you can find a large church somewhere near there, they should have the resources to help you out, at least for a bit. My church has a dude just for this, he hits up the folks that have resources to give, explains the situation, and usually gets the money he needs to help out the person/family in need. <Edit, doesn't need to be Methodist, ours is Baptist but I imagine just about any church that's large enough should have some resources.

Short answer:
Desperation for a good income

Long Answer:
Been experimenting with different career fields since I was 15.
I always told myself I need to be an entrepreneur as its the only way I will be happy.
Took any job I could get from age 15-23 so I could work on being a pro fighter and had a shirt company called down to earth MMA. My graphic designer actually made the famous korean zombie shirt.

Got desperate for money and went into the Air Force and was a Firefighter on the aide while driving for Uber and trying to make and Amazon FBA biz which went well until it died selling little corn sorting machines.

Left the military at the end of 2016 age 26 and lived in my car for 2 years trying to figure out what my purpose in life even was, whats my identity, skillset and next goal/dream. Went from living in Tucson doing IT to San Diego doing Uber, To LA trying to do film, to Austin to do software sales to Miami to Bartend, To NYC to work in the Covid units in the south bronx until I found a video on youtube called millenial money showing this 24 year old guy making 250k a year as a lineman and research showed me that top aerial lineman make up to 350k so after calling the union they said NYC had no spots but Socal had lots of demand and the highest pay so I went sown ASAP to get my California CDl in order to be a grounman apprentice working my way to lineman.

I Just turned 30.

I cant begin to describe how bad life feels knowing I had all this drive to be succesful and not know what direction to goal and find out I suck at the job or its soul sucking.

Finally have an opportunity but I'm older therefore I feel deep sadness and regret with my life.

My plan is to use my lineman job money to make online content on social media to help younger people avoid the pitfalls I fell into and teach what I've learned on my travels. I've aquired a ton of skills by working in lots of career fields and I know I can provide value to the youth starting with Trauma therapy because my identity issues started with extreme abuse before I was adopted

Hostels are too expensive considering I have almost no money left at all and little food. Been only eating 1 sandwich a day for the past few weeks

Damn mirin, srs. You've done a lot and life for you has probably been pretty interesting. I think there are some good things likely coming your way as soon as you leave this situation which sounds kind of like the type of kick the ass you might need to do a little better for yourself.

Something that has resonated with me, re: figuring out what I should do with my life:

When you are young, all you are is potential. A man dies into his career, and sacrifices his potential to be other things as he realizes that potential to BE one thing.

Essentially, potential is great. It's wonderful. But it's nothing, it's just hypotethical. Being is different.

Stop looking for the things you have potential to be good at and just do one thing. Dedicate everything to it until you no longer have to do the legwork to be proficient, then dedicate yourself to being the best you can be at it.

Anyway, I know that doesn't help with your rooming situation. But pack your go-bag. Take what you need. Everything you can. And throw it in your car. Get out of there and never look back. Don't give notice, and don't say a thing. Just move your chit out as soon as possible.

Be broke for a bit, but pay for a higher rent and less roommates if you can afford it.

Elaborating on this a little.

Time to play chess with this bitch OP. If she gets violent/turns off utilities, then I'd call the police. Tell them what is going on. Hopefully they arrest her. If they arrest her, I'd stop paying rent. I believe evictions take about 60 days in San Diego. She won't be able to file an eviction until she's out of jail. So she'll only be able to file after she's out. If she files for an eviction, you'll have 2 months at that point to figure out what to do whilst not paying rent.

Again, the fact that you're paying "under the table" is completely irrelevant. You still have rights.

You can always go back into the military at any point.

She was already arrested and just got out of jail. The police come here so often they longer care what goes on in this house as most people are insane and on drugs.

Multiple people in the house have a restraining order on her that will be in effect in a couple of days when it is served so that might fix the situation for her. Still lots of crazies here that are a nightmare to live with and on meth and get aggresive

Was medically discharched after an MRI on my back was done. I wanted to stay in.

This. 60 days is the absolute minimum time for an eviction in California and it doesn't matter if its under the table or even if you are a squatter. Use this time to get a plan together

You need cameras and to have your phone on you ready to record at all times. Also you should carry a gun or knife and when she attacks defend yourself. Also man I don't mean to add insult to injury here and **** on you in tough times, but you paid under the table? Why? How's that beneficial at all? If there is no paper trail, you didn't pay. You're going to trust a mentally deranged person to remember or admit you paid her? Ionno man, sketchy as **** imo.

I've learned when you read a story like this such as the OP its usually both parties at fault. Not saying its your fault OP just sayin your story does not look good. The fact that you haven't filmed anything aftermultipleincidents is a lil sus.

Nobody can fix your situation but you, hope it gets better bruh.
