pack what you can and leave and spend a week in the car and shower and clean up at the gym. there are shelters out there. find your nearest salvation army, go there, explain what is happening and ask for a referral.

Yeah, if you can find a large church somewhere near there, they should have the resources to help you out, at least for a bit. My church has a dude just for this, he hits up the folks that have resources to give, explains the situation, and usually gets the money he needs to help out the person/family in need. <Edit, doesn't need to be Methodist, ours is Baptist but I imagine just about any church that's large enough should have some resources.

Been experimenting with different career fields since I was 15.
I always told myself I need to be an entrepreneur as its the only way I will be happy.
Took any job I could get from age 15-23 so I could work on being a pro fighter and had a shirt company called down to earth MMA. My graphic designer actually made the famous korean zombie shirt.

Got desperate for money and went into the Air Force and was a Firefighter on the aide while driving for Uber and trying to make and Amazon FBA biz which went well until it died selling little corn sorting machines.

Left the military at the end of 2016 age 26 and lived in my car for 2 years trying to figure out what my purpose in life even was, whats my identity, skillset and next goal/dream. Went from living in Tucson doing IT to San Diego doing Uber, To LA trying to do film, to Austin to do software sales to Miami to Bartend, To NYC to work in the Covid units in the south bronx until I found a video on youtube called millenial money showing this 24 year old guy making 250k a year as a lineman and research showed me that top aerial lineman make up to 350k so after calling the union they said NYC had no spots but Socal had lots of demand and the highest pay so I went sown ASAP to get my California CDl in order to be a grounman apprentice working my way to lineman.

I Just turned 30.

I cant begin to describe how bad life feels knowing I had all this drive to be succesful and not know what direction to goal and find out I suck at the job or its soul sucking.

Finally have an opportunity but I'm older therefore I feel deep sadness and regret with my life.

My plan is to use my lineman job money to make online content on social media to help younger people avoid the pitfalls I fell into and teach what I've learned on my travels. I've aquired a ton of skills by working in lots of career fields and I know I can provide value to the youth starting with Trauma therapy because my identity issues started with extreme abuse before I was adopted

When you are young, all you are is potential. A man dies into his career, and sacrifices his potential to be other things as he realizes that potential to BE one thing.

Essentially, potential is great. It's wonderful. But it's nothing, it's just hypotethical. Being is different.

Stop looking for the things you have potential to be good at and just do one thing. Dedicate everything to it until you no longer have to do the legwork to be proficient, then dedicate yourself to being the best you can be at it.

Anyway, I know that doesn't help with your rooming situation. But pack your go-bag. Take what you need. Everything you can. And throw it in your car. Get out of there and never look back. Don't give notice, and don't say a thing. Just move your chit out as soon as possible.

If they arrest her, I'd stop paying rent. I believe evictions take about 60 days in San Diego. She won't be able to file an eviction until she's out of jail. So she'll only be able to file after she's out. If she files for an eviction, you'll have 2 months at that point to figure out what to do whilst not paying rent.

Again, the fact that you're paying "under the table" is completely irrelevant. You still have rights.
